What do you want done with your body after you die?

I signed up with Dela for a post life insurance which will handle my funeral and such. Basically I've arranged to be cremated, and I pretty much told my godson who's my beneficiary, that he should just get it over with, not waste too much money on it, and keep the rest of the money as his inheritance, not like I can offer him much else. Depending on how old she is by the time I die, my goddaughter Ffion can have my computer and other stuff.

That's brilliant, I had no idea it was possible to do something like that.

Is it expensive? I have to go research this now.

basically, I pay under 9€ a month, but it depends on how old you are when you sign up for it. (the older you are when you start, the more you pay, because you're assumed to have a shorter time to pay it off*g*)

In exchange they promise to arrange your funeral, casket, coffee table and so on when you die, so your loved ones don't have to worry about that kind of stuff anymore when you're gone. And if there's money left on the sum afforded for this after all that's been paid, your beneficiary or well the person you appointed to arrange stuff, gets the money that's left in what you've been paying up until then.

I would love a Viking funeral , being set alight and floating down the waikato river, but I don't think the council will let me do that =)

Someone did a Viking funeral for his dad illegally off the coast where I live (south west Victoria), got arrested and said it was totally worth it!
