Let me start by saying that I'm really starting to like Andie. It can be hard living with any chronic and incurable ailment, it becomes even harder when said ailment threatens others as well as yourself.
I also love the friendship that's starting to form between Nick and Dylan, even though I still think that Dylan's a bit creepy in regards to Claire, but I guess that's what makes him more fascinating. That mixture of a guy who's both dominating, yet still wants to do the right thing. And it is nice to see him and Claire talking and see him actually listening to her. Makes it more believable that she'd stay with him and love him.
I do think that things have become more interesting, now that Nick knows about the vampires. Now just to wait till he finds out about everything else ;-)
Honestly, I'm really starting to like this show. Admittedly, I still don't know all the chars, that's going to take a while, since there's so many of them. But I don't mind, I like enough of them that I'm willing to learn to get to know the ones I don't recognize right away.
It helps that at least two chars that didn't interest me right away, are now becoming more and more interesting with every thing we learn about them.
It's also nice to see a show that easily passes the Bedchell test. And that has so many strong female characters, without becoming the equivalent of Sex in the City. In fact, most of the women in the show have more interesting things to deal with, than who they want to end up with. Which to me is awesome.
