Supernatural
1.Castiel is not in my top five of fave recurring characters
2.Neither is Crowley for that matter
3.I thought Sam was an asshole in s8-9, and I've grown less interested in him as a consequence
4. I do not believe Dean did a thing wrong in trying to save Sam's live in s9, and I would have done the exact same thing if I were in his place
5.I don't generally like the funny eps

uhm, I don't really watch the other three shows, and I'm not in their fandoms, so not sure if I have any unpopular opinions on them.

Not to worry. I just wanted to provide a variety to pick from.

Hmm, going to be hard to find five unpopular opinions*g*

1. I have loved Juliette from the very first season and she's on of my fave characters. She gained my heart the second she didn't just act like a helpless damsel in distress when that ogre guy came after Nick. Instead she ran to the kitchen, where she knew there'd be weapons and used a pot of boiling water to defend both herself and Nick.

2. I like Renard as a cop, as an ally of Nick, but I hate most of the Royals storylines that he's locked up in. The more gray they try to make the character, the less interesting I find him.

3. I loved Juliette's storyline in s2. I know a lot of others disagree, but I loved, utterly adored, that we got to see the amnesia plotline from her pov, instead of just ignoring what it did to her and making it all about Nick's feelings.

4. I like Trubel and I love how her storyline connected to Nick losing his abilities as a Grimm

5. I prefer Nick as a good guy cop, and I really don't want to see him go dark. There's plenty of dark anti-heroes out there, it's becoming a cliché. I've come to prefer kindhearted heroes who try and do the right thing

4.

Smallville.

I struggled through S4, just to watch Jensen Ackles, and found it overall to be dire. Can't belive it ran to 11 seasons!

That's why I don't do these memes - either all my opinions in a fandom will be unpopular, or I won't be able to come up with five. Though I probably could with Grimm. *g*

Juliette's pot of boiling water remains a highlight of season 1. And you know I'm not so fond of her storyline in season 2, but I love her, and I'm very happy that she has a storyline this season which I enjoy wholeheartedly!

I like the Royals storylines and Renard's place in them, but I wish we'd get to see more of Renard interacting with the rest of Team Grimm. There's been far too little of that this season!

And about Nick - I don't actually want him to go dark either! I really want a storyline that explores his potential for going dark, but then I want him to pull back and not actually go there. Still crossing my fingers for that ...
